Last meeting - 4th October. Arrangement were made for the forthcoming Halloween Disco, Christmas Movie Night and Raffle and Christingle Carol Service. Minutes will be attached below.

1st November                      Halloween Disco (Ks1 3.30pm-4.30pm) (Ks2 4.30pm-5.30pm)


15th December                   Christmas Movie Night and Christmas Raffle (from 5pm)


19th December                   Christingle Carol Service at Shapwick Church (6.30-7.30pm)

Sacha Ross, Debbie Villis and Kelly Cavallo stood down from their committee positions. We would like to thank them for all their hard work over the past year.

Special thanks to Alison Campbell, Debbie Bloodworth and Richard Donley for all their efforts with the School showcase at Catcott Open Gardens, opening links with the community and Rachel, Lucinda and their team for their clothes sale donation to Friends (PTA).

Welcome to the Friends of Catcott School  - Parent Teacher Association (PTA).


Friends of Catcott PTA is an integral, invaluable and important part of our school community, raising much needed funds to support the learning of every child and encourage active involvement in school life.


Friends has a programme of events and activities that take place throughout the year, they also provide invaluable support and initiatives and activities within the school.


All parents, guardians and carers are members of Friends and there is always something going on, they ALWAYS need help and EVERYONE is welcome to get involved in a number of ways, from joining the Committee to helping with their myriad of events and fundraising activities….….there will always be something fun and interesting to do… come along and join in

Sports Day - Marshfield Ice-creams....

Thank you to Julie Ingram for arranging the yummy Marshfield Ice creams for sale on Sports Day! Thanks also to helpers, Lou, Oscar, Marianna, Jess and Sue for helping.

A total of £170 was raised and will go to Mr Donley to be used in Food Technology classes for the pupils.

Bag2School Collection


Thank you to everyone that brought bags into school on Thursday 22nd June! We now have a cheque for £65 for bags with a total weight of 165kg! Well done everyone!

Easter Bingo - Thursday 30th March - Raised the fantastic amount of £443.16!!  


Thank you everyone who attended Easter Bingo - the hall was full!! Fun was had by all and lots of lucky winners went home with yummy Easter treats! Photos to follow.....


Many thanks to all those that helped out and contributed to this lovely family event - all proceeds are going towards an outdoor learning project for the children.


The Easter Hamper Raffle was won by Louie in Reception and Robbie Armstrong in Year 4.
