Dear Families,

Today your children may well come home sharing the news that a Fire Brigade attended a call to us today. This morning the fire alarms sounded, and the school was evacuated quickly, this was unplanned, and the Fire Brigade were called.

On arrival I joined the Fire Brigade, we quickly established that there was no smoke or fire. The Fire Brigade identified a technical fault which will be rectified by our alarm company.

The children displayed exemplary behaviour throughout this time, I was hugely proud of them for the responsible way they acted.

We were able to get children back into school quickly but only after we had confirmed with the Fire Brigade that it was safe to do so.
