Science Club

In science club this half-term, we've planned and carried out a comparative/fair test into lava lamps! We discussed what variables we could change and what variables we could measure. We decided we wanted to change the amount of tablets and then time how long the lava lamp reaction lasted for. To our amazement, three tablets caused a reaction that lasted for approximately 12 minutes!

We also planned and carried out a pattern seeking enquiry. We wanted to find out if people with longer legs can run faster. We discovered that actually, there was no pattern! In one group the people with the longest legs ran the fastest, while in another group the people with the shortest legs ran the fastest. We discussed that there would've been a lot of contributing factors to how fast people ran such as how much they exercise.
