Pop Up Rock

A meeting for all Pop Up Rock Volunteers will be held on Tuesday 12th February at 7.30pm at the Crown Inn, Catcott.

We look forward to seeing you there to organise this great event!

Happy New Year everyone from all of us at the PTA. 

 

Our next PTA meeting will be held on Tuesday 29th January at 7:30pm at The Crown, Catcott.  

 

We also have a meeting planned for all those volunteering for Pop Up Rock Up and this will take place on Tuesday 12th February at 7:30pm; venue to be confirmed.

END OF TERM THANKS FROM OUR PTA CHAIR - RACHAEL ARMSTRONG

 

This term's fund raising has reached an amazing total of £1,693 - totally awesome!  This includes the Halloween Disco, the Christmas raffle, Christmas cards, Movie night and the 50/50 club. 

 

As Chair of the committee I would like to say an enormous thank you to all the committee and volunteers.  And on behalf of the PTA we would like to say a huge thank you to all the teachers and Mr Axten-Higgs for your support at the events, we genuinely couldn't have done it without you all.

 

Thank you to all the parents who have supported these events and given so generously.

 

It's so enjoyable and rewarding to work alongside such a committed team of parents and teachers.  Merry Christmas everyone and roll on 2019!

Christmas Raffle

A big thank you to everyone that bought raffle tickets at the school Christmas performances, a grand total of £280.60 was raised for the school.  And well done to our two lucky winners of the hamper and Clarks shopping voucher.

Movie Night - December 2018

 

Over 100 children attended movie night this year choosing between three films; The Star, Christopher Robin and The Greatest Showman.  Everyone wore their pyjamas for the movie and tucked into popcorn, a hot dog and chips.  The night was a huge success and the PTA hope to hold another one later in the school year smiley 

Halloween Disco - November 2018

Wow what a fantastic time was had by all at our Halloween Disco.  Thank you to everyone who came, wore their scariest costumes, danced their socks off and munched their way through hot dogs and popcorn!  We hope you all had a great time.  We have all managed to raise £331.46 for the school which is marvellous.  Also a big thank you from the PTA to all the people that helped on the night including the teachers that stayed on to help, we couldn't have held the event without you all.

Welcome to the P.T.A - Parent & Teacher Association page!

 

The PTA is an integral, invaluable and important part of our school community, raising much needed funds to support the learning of every child and encourage active involvement in school life.

 

The P.T.A has a programme of events and activities that take place throughout the year, they also provide invaluable support and initiatives and activities within the school.

 

All parents/guardians/carers and staff are automatic members of the P.T.A and there is always something going on, help is always needed and EVERYONE is welcome to get involved in a number of ways, from joining the Committee to helping with their myriad of events and fundraising activities….….there will always be something fun and interesting to do… come along and join in

Father's Day Breakfast! Lots of fun and raised £121.79.

Sports Day - Marshfield Ice-creams....

Thank you to Julie Ingram for arranging the yummy Marshfield Ice creams for sale on Sports Day! Thanks also to helpers, Lou, Oscar, Marianna, Jess and Sue for helping.

A total of £170 was raised and will go to Mr Donley to be used in Food Technology classes for the pupils.

Bag2School Collection

 

Thank you to everyone that brought bags into school on Thursday 22nd June! We now have a cheque for £65 for bags with a total weight of 165kg! Well done everyone!

Easter Bingo - Thursday 30th March - Raised the fantastic amount of £443.16!!  

 

Thank you everyone who attended Easter Bingo - the hall was full!! Fun was had by all and lots of lucky winners went home with yummy Easter treats! Photos to follow.....

 

Many thanks to all those that helped out and contributed to this lovely family event - all proceeds are going towards an outdoor learning project for the children.

 

The Easter Hamper Raffle was won by Louie in Reception and Robbie Armstrong in Year 4.
