29/1/21

Friday 29th January

Here is a timetable for you to use as a guide.

Literacy: Using the boxing up table, research information that you will put in your own report about The Roman Army. Look at the questions that were answered in the Celts report and try and answer the same question about the Roman Army- e.g. what did the Roman Army wear?

I have uploaded our shared boxing up document that we completed together after the children had researched and filled in their own sheet independently. I have also linked to lots of websites with videos and information to help with the research.

Guided Reading. Please read the text about Claudius and Nero. Then answer day 4 questions.

Break

Maths: I have aimed the lessons on time at the majority of the class based on their time assessments. We are starting by revising telling the time to the nearest 5 minutes. If would be helpful if you could make an interactive clock before this lesson so the children are able to make the times on their own clock. Then watch the lesson input- you will need the guided sheet. If you are feeling confident have a go at the linking worksheets, if not keep your work practical today and practice making different times on your clock with someone at home testing you!

Lunch

Topic- Choose another activity from the Volcanoes task sheet. This will be our last week on this so try and finish any unfinished projects.
