£1731.26 raised for NSPCC

School Council has been working closely with the NSPCC this term to help raise money for the charity.

They organised a series of assemblies where Sophie Richards, an NSPCC Fundraiser, came to talk to the whole school about the work of the NSPCC.

They then also worked very hard to organise the sponsored event itself - a rotation of penalty shoot-outs, skipping and dancing! The day itself was great fun  and Sophie returned to distribute badges and stickers to everyone who took part.

Sophie returned to school once more this week, to conduct the final count. She was staggered to discover that we had raised £1731.26! This is an incredible sum of money and everyone at the NSPCC wants to say a huge THANK YOU to the children and their friends, family and neighbours for raising this fantastic amount to help support the work of the NSPCC.

Well done everyone!
