All of our children commemorated the 98th anniversary of the Armistice today alongside members of the Catcott community at the war memorial.
The children stood in silence and listened as Reverend Richard Tweedy led the service. When the two minutes silence was observed, George, Marianna and Wilf laid the wreathes and poppies that had ben made in school on the memorial. Year 6 then recited 'In Flanders Fields'.
We were very proud of the way the children listened so intently and behaved themselves.
