LET THE WILD RUMPUS BEGIN!
Year 1 and 2 have been reading Maurice Sendak's 'Where the Wild Things Are' and today is the culmination of all that learning. What better way to celebrate than with a WILD RUMPUS!?
The children are carrying out lots of different 'Wild Thing' activities over the course of the day and have come to school dressed up as wild animals!
The children have looked at different wild animals, including finding out about their habitats, and even created some of their own amazing animals. They will be visiting Bristol Zoo on Thursday to find out even more about them too.
This is a great example of how we bring together varied elements of learning to create a rich, stimulating curriculum for the children.
