In our topic of fractions, we have come to a natural break as the next piece of work will focus on adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions (including mixed numbers). So rather than start then stop before half term, I'm giving you guys a maths games morning.
I've linked to a website called Arcademics, in which you can create private games for you to play with friends. It will ask you to create a password that you can then share with friends. We will be doing the same in class from about 9:30, so we can communicate via Class Dojo and maybe play some games together. Not all the games are free though!
To create a private game, first select the game you wish to play. Next, create a 'fun and friendly' username. Once you've completed that step you will come across a lobby screen where you will see a button for 'create game'. In that, you can select private game and set a password that you can then share with friends from this class only.
Usual online safety rules apply, don't give out passwords to strangers and make sure you know who you are playing with. Be kind to one another.
