Message from the Willow Class Team

A very warm welcome to Willow Class! We are so excited to begin this new school year with your children and to guide them through what promises to be a fun, challenging, and rewarding journey. This year is full of exciting learning opportunities as we explore fascinating topics. Beyond the classroom, we are also looking forward to special events that make Year 5 so memorable. Highlights will include our Activity Week, where the children will take part in new experiences that develop teamwork and confidence, as well as our end-of-year performance, a chance for the children to showcase their creativity and talents.​

We are truly excited to teach your children this year and can’t wait to see all that they will achieve.

Homework

Whilst our classes are full of learning and development, a few minutes each day at home on tasks such as reading and maths can have a huge impact. We ask each of our children to do the following each week:

• Daily reading
• TTRS Practice
• Spelling - tested weekly
