Our RE curriculum overview provides a clear map of learning across the school. As we have mixed-age classes, our curriculum has been carefully planned to ensure that all children develop a secure understanding of different religions, beliefs and world views.

RE is taught through a two-year rolling programme, ensuring that children experience a broad and balanced curriculum without unnecessary repetition. Learning is carefully sequenced so that pupils can build on their prior knowledge, deepen their understanding and develop their skills as they progress through school.

This approach ensures that all children access the key knowledge and skills appropriate to their age, regardless of which year they enter the programme.
