Welcome to Elder Class!

Year 6 is the final year of Primary school and packed full of interesting topics and learning as well as exciting trips and opportunities. We will learn about the dissolution of the monasteries, rivers, global trade and evolution among many others. This year will also include our activity week, which will provide the children with the opportunity to learn new skills and try something new. We will prepare for our SATS tests as well as developing our acting techniques in our end of year performance.

Homework

Whilst our classes are full of learning and development, a few minutes each day at home on tasks can have a huge impact. We ask each of our children to do the following each week:

• Reading at least 3 times a week
• Times Table Rockstars
• Spellings - tested weekly on Mondays
• SATs booklets in the Spring Term

Key Dates 

PE is on Tuesday (with Coaches) and Friday (with class teacher). All children to wear PE kit and house colour t shirt.
